HIGHSIDE PUTS TROY CORSER IN HOSPITAL ON BMW S1000RR World Superbike In BRNO.
10/07/2010 16:39:21

After a successful morning session which saw Troy end fourth fastest, things were going well in today’s first qualifying this afternoon until the closing stages. Troy was getting on the gas, after exiting a right-hander, but was then highsided and crashed heavily. He suffered concussion in the fall and his helmet was also struck by his bike. He was taken to the circuit’s medical centre and was conscious but could not remember the crash at all. After examination there, it was decided that Troy should go to the hospital in Brno for more X-rays, further checks and a CT scan as a precaution.

LATEST NEWS!

Troy has been checked up and fortunately has not suffered any serious injuries. He has been released, but may stay in hospital overnight just to make sure everything is in order. At the moment, no decision has been made as to whether or not Troy will ride tomorrow or Sunday, but the good news is that he has told the hospital staff that he’s hungry and wants some food!
